First half of 2025: 726 antisemitic incidents recorded

In the first half of 2025 the IKG antisemitism reporting center registered 726 antisemitic incidents in Austria, down from 808 in the first half of 2024. The decline is no all-clear: the level remains well above that before 7 October 2023.

The incidents included five physical attacks, eight threats, 78 cases of property damage and 203 mass mailings. The most common forms remained Israel-related antisemitism, antisemitic othering and Holocaust relativization.
