Parliament study 2024: Israel-related antisemitism on the rise

For the 2024 antisemitism study commissioned by the Austrian parliament, the IFES institute surveyed a nationally representative sample of 2,037 people in October and November 2024.

13% of respondents held manifest antisemitic attitudes (2022: 15%) and 33% latent ones (2022: 32%). Israel-related antisemitism in particular increased – especially among young people and university graduates. Four in ten respondents did not classify a Holocaust-relativizing statement as antisemitic.
